The author sees herself as one who has experienced many different things that have brought supreme joy and profound heartache. She is aware that her faith is the one constant that never abandoned her. She has not given up nor become jaded as to the possibilities of this life. At 68 years of age, she realizes she is in the latter third of her life but is still looking forward to sharing with others what has kept her going all these years. She genuinely loves people from all walks of life, faiths, colors, genders, and beliefs. She knows we all have something of great value to give one another.
